The co-founder of College Hunks Hauling Junk shared his entrepreneurial story with students at the Nault Center for Entrepreneurship and the Muma College of Business.
Recipients include Jay Nault, Finance '83 and MBA '84, Distinguished Alumni Award; Byron E. Shinn, Accounting '79, Donald A. Gifford Service Award; and Monica Wooden, Class of '56 Award.
ÎÞÂëרÇø’s Nault Center for Entrepreneurship appoints new executive director. Allen Clary, an experienced entrepreneur and ÎÞÂëרÇø alum, will be tasked with building bridges between the university and the larger entrepreneurial business community.
Student Spotlight: ÎÞÂëרÇø's Unique Alston carves a path in entrepreneurship with Fintech X|Accelerator connections. In high school, Alston sold gently worn sneakers to her friends in Virginia, and she knew entrepreneurship would play a huge role in her college career. Her decision to enroll at ÎÞÂëרÇø is paying off.
Jay Nault, recipient of the 2024 ÎÞÂëרÇø Distinguished Alumnus Award, is a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist who embodies the motto of his foundation: Success is achieving for yourself; significance is helping others achieve their dreams.

The Princeton Review released its 2025 Top Graduate Schools for Entrepreneurship Studies list, ranking ÎÞÂëרÇø's Nault Center for Entrepreneurship No. 10 in the nation and No. 6 among public universities. The undergraduate program is also nationally ranked, coming in at No. 17 among public universities.
